HOW TO INSTALL WOOD FLOORING:

To prevent any type of movement of your flooring later you should first acclimate the wood to the environment and humidity of your room by leaving the boxes open and above ground for several days also if you can then control the humidity of your house in the range of 35 to 55 percent.

First, you should gather all your required tools, accessories, and equipment in one room. Also, always order 10 to 15% more wood than required and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry, even, and void of any previous flooring. You can install it on your previous flooring as well but follow the manufacturer’s advice on that.

When you have installed the rows, remove the spacers, and attach trim and moldings.

Installing wooden flooring is best left to professionals because it is a one-time investment and should be done the correct way but if you wish to do it yourself then you should follow the manufacturer’s guide and we also recommend watching a few tutorials as well to better understand the process.
